NICKS FEEDER CUPS

I'm curious as to what he paints them with. I asked and replied "They are painted with an outdoor environment grade spray paint."

I'm not sure what that means, but I found something that works for me. I take some pictures and post them tomorrow is I can.

Also which style feeder cups did you purchase? Both my Parsons refused to feed from the feeder cups I purchased from Nick, so I removed them. Gave them 5 days of not feeding from anything but the feeder cups, they refused to take any insects from the cups, the second I held a roach for them after the 5 day hunger strike they fed. Just curious if maybe I needed to try the 360 style feeder cup from Nick.

I have his largest ones the 4 inch they work great and seems to know what they where right away. If i where you i would put them back in there and just leave them in there with no food for a couple weeks so they get used to it then add food after a couple weeks.

the first one i have mounted on the door the other two on the sides. One thing i was very surprised of is instead of the roaches hiding on the bottom they are and the netting on the side.

@Dragon1516 I just wanna make sure the answer is yes, but can you move those cups anywhere? From the pics you posted of your guy eating... on the first one, is that circle thing the only magnet holding the cup???

Sorry just saw this and yes the branch helps but it doesnt need the help the magnet is so strong i had to use pliers to pull it off the magnet on the cup so i could install it.
Yes the magnet is crazy strong though!! Like holy crap it's rediculous how strong it is.[/QUOTE

If you haven't tried Nicks feeder cups then you need to. I have 4 Calumma Parsonii and when I installed Nicks feeder cups into each of their cages each of them walked up to their feeder cup and just sat there looking at it and waiting for food. And this was even before I put any food in them. Quite amazing Thank You Nick.

Man i just think tha't so crude..:cautious: I use a feed station too.. but ones there done i take it out of the enclosure so they won't get the hundred yards stare. You know there looking at the cup waiting for something to happen...Lol..

LOL ya i have noticed they do that but there is usually at least a couple insects left ing there cup when they are done then they just sit there and watch the insects walk around in the cup lol.
