NEWBIE NEEDS HELP

Hi everyone I have a Female Panther Chameleon and she is just about 6 months old. I have had her for about 4 weeks now, So one thing I am concerned about is that she seems do be always this tan and dark brown colour, and I always thought that means they're pissed off, Idk what I am doing wrong. I have vines everywhere off the ground for her to climb on I always have my humidity at least at 80% with a fogger machine, I mist her cage, I feed her every other day she sometime eats 10-12 mixed bugs other times just 6-8. I have a combo heat lamp with her UVB bulb. But she continues to stay this dark brown colour.

Young female panthers are typically tans and browns. That color doesn't look unusual to me. You should be feeding her much more, though! At her age, she should be easting easily 10-15 crickets every single day. Please fill out the following information in as much detail as possible so we can see how you are caring for her.

Judging from you pictures, it looks like you need a lot more horizontal branches/vines and some live plants. It looks way too open for her right now and that could be a cause of stress

• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
• Feeding - What are you feeding yourcham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loadingyour feeders?

• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recentdroppings. Has this chameleon everbeen tested for parasites?
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to helpyou.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, andtypes of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp rangehave you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are yougeographically located?

Meh, unless you have high contrast stripes or dots, she is not pissed off. She is also only 6 months old, so hes not going to have a good color pallet yet. Hell at 4-5 months we get excited when they can make any color other than dirt.
