My husband surprised me with my first Chameleon the other day! Ive done lots of reading on how to care for her and I've recently read about egg retention. I don't know her age, but I do know she is young. How can I assure myself that she is able to lay her eggs and we can avoid her getting backed up?! Also, at what age will she start laying eggs? I will post a few pics of her in hopes of someone knowing her age!

Congrats on your new baby. What's her name? I keep veileds and they are an awesome species to work with. She looks to be about three months old to me. I have a few blogs attached below that you might find helpful. One about general care, one about egg laying and a video on making a laying bin.

Welcome Aberry! I see Jann has found you and has attached a few links. She's a great resource for you in the months/ years to come as a fellow veiled keeper. Hope to see you post up soon.

Thank you! Her name is Reptar! I embraced my inner 90s kid! I absolutely adore her and hope to give her all the love and care she needs, which is why I am here! Thank you for the links and advice!
