So I recently purchased a chameleon and setup his enclosure. I am new to chameleons, but not to reptiles/amphibians. I currently have around 25 vivs that hold various dart frogs. I also have 3 cats,3 koi, 1 ball python, and 2 kids. I have seen veiled chameleons for awhile now and with the black friday deal,i got one. "He" is prob around 3 to 4 months old (from what I've read on these forums) and easily adapting to his new home. I feed him everyday and supplement every other day with Rephasy calcium plus. I will post some pictures of his tank and him asap. I look forward to learning about veiled chameleons and hope to share what I've learned to new comers like myself.

Thanks:)

Welcome to the Forum!! You will enjoy it here as there are many great people willing to help and share the joy of being a parent to a chameleon :) There are some very good blogs that members have taken the time to write. Please familiarize yourself with them as they can be very helpful.

Thanks! I have been a lurker for about 7 or 8 months and have read a few. So far, they fit into my happy home just great.;)

welcome to the forums! i would be interested in seeing the dart frogs too! i love them but never would own them but congrats on your new little guy :)

I will show you guys my frog room in another thread. Why wouldn't you ever own one? They are pretty awesome little guys, but thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I've been getting some pics of Tonto and his new home so stay tuned!:) oh and thanks Lindawaz for the links. I was told by a few people I could house a male and female veiled together, but I think if I ever get a female....I'll prob house her seperately. :)
