Hi all new to the forums, and new Veiled owner my first chameleon
I just built a 24 x 24 x 72 enclosure and am wondering if http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/trblhot524qu1.html is the way to go for lighting? I have plenty of shade spots and a 4 ft umbrella plant taking up the bottom. The lighting I have now seems a bit gloomy, and I have not seen him below the top 2 ft of the enclosure. Right now I have a 100w powersun UV by zoomed, and a 18 inch slimline tropical fixture by zilla. Basking spot is 90 degrees F. Room ambient temp is 70-77. He has only been in the enclosure for a few days. Thanks in advance.
