New veiled Cham help + new to fourm

image.jpeg So I just recently got into the reptile hobby and I started off with a couple chams. I have a male and female that are about 4-5 months old. They are in the same enclosure right now and I will be buying a new one later today so I can separate them, but the male seems to have a black color on the tip of his mouth. I was thinking it might be mouth rot, or maybe I'm just overthinking but I thought I'd just make sure here. It's eating fine and I've only had him sense yesterday, the hotspot for the cage is 89 and I have a 10.0 uvb t8 light on the cage. The cage is 35 inches tall and about 18inches wide and has all screen sides except the bottom. I'll try and upload pics if I can figure out how to.

It could also be a rub mark where the chameleon is rubbing his nose against the screen because he is stressed and trying to get out of the cage. Can you separate them inside the cage with a piece of corolast until your new cage arrives? This could very much be stress from being in the same cage as the female.

I just seperated the female in a 10g for now because he was opening her mouth toward him ¿ But he was never bothered by her. He just sits under the basking spot all day and only moves if I open the cage or to eat.
