New Veiled "Carl Winslow"

First of all id like to thank everyone on here for being so helpful, i have been out of the chameleon world for a few years focusing on crested geckos after my sick panther Mitch passed away about 3 years ago. but after seeing a nearly full grown Veiled in a 1x1x1 glass cube at a small pet shop near my house i felt compelled to get him out of there. Ive named him Carl Winslow, for his big old eyes, and historically my past chameleons have had proper names (steve buschemi, mitch hedburg, ted brogan) so i kept with tradition. ive got him set up in a 4 ft tall screen enclosure with a hibiscus plant and some fake leaves and bamboo sticks for climbing. he has significantly brightened up since i brought him home and his "pj's" are incredible, as well as when i get him out in the sun. heres a video a friend of mine took of him eatin and a picture.

Welcome back into the hobby, and welcome to chameleon forums. Just a thought but it looks like Carl Winslow may have a good bit of retained shed. in the conditions he was in it is not surprising. I would mist him as often as you have time for a while. Coming from a pet shop, me might need hydrating anyway, but if he does have retained shed the extra misting will help. Could also be he is just finishing a shed.

thanks alot, hes slowly starting to shed now, it seems like he hasnt shed in a very long time. slowly but surely hes getting to it.
