New UVB hood? Best one?

Hello!! I am purchasing a new hood for the linear uvb bulb... My current one is probably 4 years old still working but the reflectors appear to be a little worn... this one I have been using was a generic one I got from Amazon forever ago. Wondering which one I should buy now... Reptisun? T5? T8? Carolina cages? Any suggestions? Thanks

I would say 6 or no missskittles

same, though it depends on how far the light is from the chameleon. the farther it is, the stronger (potentially) you could use. wouldnt reccomend the 14 though lol. @Beman knows the good distances from what uvb to the chameleon.

6 is what you need, if you get 12 you will need to raise your fixture or drop your branches more. 6 is perfect cuz you can set it right on top of the cage and will geta uvb level 3 at 9 inches

Most of the T5 fixtures are exactly the same—made by the Shenzen Sunlight Lighting Co.

Either Arcadia 6% or Reptisun 5.0 should be fine; they are approx. equivalent. I have both.
