New to shedding!!

I have only had this little one for a week, and he is already shedding!! I was told he is 3-4 months old. Is this normal at this age? Still not sure on whether its a he or she....Thanks for looking!

That is normal. At his age, he should be shedding every 2-3 weeks, depending on nutrition, and growth rate.

Normal and looks like itll be a good fast shed. Young ones will almost pop out of their skin in only a few hours. Things to watch for is shedding around the legs and tail. you want to make sure old shed doesn't dry and constrict blood flow around the limbs and tail.

I usually increase my misting schedule slightly during sheds to bring the ambient humidity up higher than usual to help keep the old skin soft and easier to remove. Warm water seems to help loosen the skin as well.
