New to chameleons

I had my Jackson shipped to me from the very east side of Canada to the very west. Not from frams, but I'm sure they take the same care in shipping. They have a great reputation! I just can't buy from them as I'm in Canada, but wish I could! I'd gladly add one of their panthers to my collection....

Anyway, they'll send them via courier with the "take care live animals, keep box upwards" stickers, along with heat packs to keep them comfortable. I got mine via UPS and the delivery guy was SUPER respectful with the box. Even wanted to wait for me to open it and show him! He'd never seen a chameleon before... It arrived within 24hrs of shipping.

The chameleon just sleeps in the box as it's dark and they just want to rest.

It’s never to soon to learn about caring for our lovely girls. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/veiled-chameleon-laying-101.2488/ If you have any questions, just ask. Do make sure to ask Fram’s how much they’ve been feeding her to continue. Most important of all!!! You must share pics and all bout her! 💗 😁

dont buy from who? fl chams or framschams? I already bought the female from framschams
Flchams.... Is the one I personally would never buy from. The link you shared that I commented on. If you bought from frams chams then you bought from a good breeder that actually sells healthy chams.

It can be a challenge to hang branches and plants in screen enclosures, but there are solutions. The first is Dragon Ledges. https://dragonstrand.com/dragon-ledges/ These are awesome and worth their weight in gold. If for any reason those aren’t an option, I’ve been using garden trellis with good results. I attach to the frame with thin wires and at least one for each side of a panel, I secure to a screw. I also sand the ends where I cut to prevent any injuries. Pics below. Both of these options are easiest to install before assembling the enclosure. *if using trellis, make sure to account for the pieces butting up against each other in the corners with your measurements.
Here’s one set up with ledges.

that is a very good Idea and I will probably try that for hanging plants. I found some hacks and stuff for installing the wood supports because they are relativly light. but I have been wondering what to use for hanging plants and I will try that. thanks
