New set up

Hi!! We just finished setting up Rangos big boy enclosure, I’m wondering if I can get some feedback:

Is the way I set up his lights good? The horizontal is the plant light, cross one is UVB/UVA and then his heat lamp near the uvb

Thanks 😊😊😊

How close is that one branch sticking up to the heat lamp? He might choose to sit on it, and can burn his back, if it's too close. Can't tell from the angle. Also try to run a branch or vine parallel with the UVB. 🙂

Hi! Just to clarify, only one of the two t5 fixtures has a UVB bulb in it, is that correct? And the other one has a non-UVB daylight / plant bulb in it? Question: And what UVB % is the UVB bulb... 6%? It looks good if that is the case. But IF they are BOTH UVB bulbs... then ya' might be overdoing the UVB. Just one other observation / tip : if possible, I personally would add more "greenery" or usable shade up near the cage top. Say in the top back corners. True, Rango can go lower in the cage to get away from the UVB if he wants to... But as a rule, Chams prefer to stay in the top 1/3 of the cage. So they all really appreciate having shade and foliage up at the tip top of the cage as well so they can get out of the "sun" if they want to. Cheers, Todd

He’s the recommended distance between, and he has a vine going across as well
