New reptile owner

Hey I'm new to keeping reptiles and I've just picked up my first chameleon, a nosy faly panther called Parker.
My viv is set up with the basking spot around 29.9 degrees Celsius and ambient 24.4, Parker is 7 ish months old and I wanted to know if this was okay?

Also regarding feeding I have crickets at the moment, I intend on buying a variety of insects to feed him but I'm after a feeding routine with a variety of bugs so I can ensure I'm giving him the best possible care and diet.
I currently own calcium dust and nutrobal by vertak, are there any other supplements I should buy? And how often should I use each? I've heard conflicting theories that juveniles need nutrobal about once a week while others say once every two weeks, I understand that too often can cause problems as can too little!
Should I be cup feeding him at this age or releasing bugs into his viv to encourage natural hunting?
I have a Komodo easy assemble chameleon terrarium using one Arcadia t5 d3+ 12% lamp (I have a twin t5 Arcadia controller but I'm only using one lamp at the moment) and an exo terra basking bulb, I can't quite remember the wattage but I'll post it as soon as I'm home. I have a dripper and will be misting him twice to three times a day.
I'm putting a few live potted plants in, is it better to have a plant lamp too? If so which would be best?
I'll also post a picture of him and his viv later for more advice.
Thank you! :)

update; my bulb is an exoterra 75W daylight basking spot

Welcome....You have come to the right place. There's so much information here, and from some great Chameleon owners, that you shouldn't have any problems finding the information you want. Soooo, with that being said, I don't mean to pon you off to fend for yourself, but go to the Forums section of this website, and check out some of the recent Threads posted this week, there is quite a bit of information that has been put out there this week about some of the very questions you are asking about. Normally I like it when people ask questions for help, but in your case, you should be able to read thread after thread on some of the very subjects you are asking about fairly quickly. If you don't find your answers, come back, and we'll be more than happy to help.

thank you, i'll have a scroll through them now:)
One thing though, he's in his viv now and he's eaten 3 crickets and had a really good drink but he keeps climbing on to the top mesh of the viv, i'm worried he's getting too close to the basking lamp and i don't want him to burn himself.
Is this normal? Should I try and re-position the vine so the roof of the viv isn't as accessible?

In this photo he's hanging on to the mesh roof in the middle under the UV lamp.

No...leave him, he should be fine. The cool thing about chameleons is they regulate their temperatures fairly well. He shouldn't get burnt.

Can you do me a favor. Take a picture of your set up so I can take a look at it. I can probably give you some pointers on your setup.

I need to move my ambient temperature and humidity probe as it's hanging a bit too low at the moment but this is my lighting positions etc

the white panel on the left side of the viv was for my dripper but I found it has a hole in it when i went to mount it! Also looking into getting a mister too.
The probe for the microclimate dimmerstat is just running through the right hand side of the large plant at the back

I'm thinking it might be more beneficial to place a vine or something from left to right across the top of the viv so he can get closer to the UV without having to hang upside down from the mesh roof

this is just an overall picture
