New Pygmy are egg-bound and laying...what do I do?

Yea I actually witnessed my males in a physical fight....as bad as it sounds it was hilarious! They are so friggin cute

As for the pygmies, I literally went to every single booth and asked....one guy just happened to have his own pygmies there (I don't recall what booth I was at). The guy who sold them to me (I think "Randy"?) said he bred them himself and the other people at the booth didn't even know the pygmies were there (I had to tell them where they were located in their own booth).

But ya, I did get them at the SD show. He had probably 2-4 other males but I bought all his females.

@Shawntea: where/how much did you get those temps for?

and how can you tell the difference? They look distinctly different from my brevs, but I just can't pinpoint it...

Temps look a lot like brevs. Some characteristics that you can see is that temps have a pointer face. You can tell the difference when you have the two together. The temps also seem to look a little longer them brevs. Well in my eyes. More stream line as brevs look like panthers hit by a shrink ray. lol. The deal breaker is the common name for brevs aka Bearded Pygmy Chameleon. They have a small spike (beard) on there chin. Definetly noticable! I hope that helps.

I have a local pet/feed store that picked up the 2 brevs for me. Also ended up with a temp too, he bought them at the long beach convention. Sure they are wild caught because I was charged 26.99 a piece. the female brev I returned because she had a broken leg upon arrival, but after watching her continue to struggle week after week in the pet store and become bigger and bigger with eggs I brought her back to my house to stay. at least she can lay and see a vet that way.

Beard is a dead give awya, but temps are also lighter in color and the texture of their skin is different. Face pointier like a diamond shape almost. Also temp both male and femal have longer tails that curl at the tip. I agree the brevs look like a miniature version of some larger chams, but the temps have a sour puss/ frowney face mouth. :D
