New pygmies

Cages like that are never a waste of money. You can always find something awesome and cool to put in them!

You could always just get it set up with plants and make it look pretty. That's probably what I would do. That, or I might get something else. hahaha.

Theyre too cool!!! :) I now have 4-24 x24x24 terrariums I built that were for future additions, but decided to house them in different set ups.... I now know what ill be using them for!!!:p

It's fully planted already and was waiting patiently for them. So....I don't know what else would need a fully planted exo terra that is that small.

hehe. Everyone is wanting pygmies now! This is great, a bigger cb population can start now. I'm looking to trade babies with anyone in the future... :D

Awesome tank! You would only need to change a few things. Pygs needs lots of little highways so adding some small sticks and one plant that's almost as tall as the tank (like a fern or schefflera) in the middle to give them some cover and you should be set! If you're going to keep a male with females (in any ratio) you need to have some foliage to break the line of site so that they aren't constantly in sight of each other. The females need to be able to hide easily so the male isn't constantly pursuing her. Here are some other tanks to draw inspiration from: https://www.chameleonforums.com/pygmy-enclosures/

I wwould go even more. I kept my trio in a thirty gallon tank. The male really hunted down the females. so the more room the females have to hide from him the better.

I agree, more is always better! 5 gal/pyg is the absolute minimum. And in my experience that's still too little imo. I'd like to say 10gal/pyg but people would always 'correct' me when I did.

I was told that was the size to get for a trio. That's why I bought it...

0I was the one that suggested that size for a trio. I have had a trio in one successfully for a year. No signs of stress, heavily planted. It was recommended to me when I first got pygs a year ago and has worked out great for my group.

SO the male is approaching one of the females both females are waving there bodies back and forth and the one he is approaching is putting her back legs in the air is that normal or should i separate them.

Heres alittle update on my trio.
