IMO, I believe you should watch your chameleon just to make sure there are no adverse reactions to the plant. Kalanchoe is okay, in fact, don't be surprised if your veiled obliterates this plant. It is basically all water. I think it is important to pay attention to your chams regardless of what a compiled list tells you is okay or not okay. Just because my cham has been completely fine with a plant in his enclosure doesn't meant that will be the same case with yours. I'm not saying that it's so toxic that your cham will die, but even is the plant causes irritation, why use it. Too often we think that information is across the board. Research helps us make informed decisions, while daily care and monitoring gives us key specific information in regards to our individual chameleons. Just my opinion.
