I have the 18x18x36 penn plax that I'm currently not using. It's a nice cage. Your jackson's will love all of that space!

They are pretty nice. I like the brace at the top, and the little door for running the mister.
I dont like how dirty the door gets over time really.
If the plexi gets damaged its not convenient to replace either, as its riveted in.
Other than that I loved them, they have a much sharper look than the standard cages.

I have two of them and love them! I ended up screwing the rivets out on the very top, the first week I got it to change the plexi out because there was an issue from the get go which penn plex also made good on, hence why I have two.
So far so good with the door getting dirty but with misting it does create spots. I have found that if you wipe it down once a week it stays pretty clear. I like it much better than the all screen repti breeze I also have. (Which now reminds me I have two cages that are empty ) The cross bar at the top is a plus too. As for the misting holes they are nice but I did not end up using them because I installed the mist king to the top corner.
Your jackson will certainly appreciate the upgrade!

I used it to run bendy vines thru. I'm almost certain that it won't support anything with any heft...

I wouldnt put anything too heavy on it, but Ive had a pothos hanging from them before.
I ran vines/branches over the top of it as well, to add height to the foliage and living space. I dont have any great examples of this, but you can fit a MK line in it, and have a nozzle in the front and back, with the line hidden in the brace.
This video shows how I had mine initially, but doesnt show the above mentioned technique ;/ You can see the line hanging loose, I eventually ran it through the brace though.

Awesome chameleons! I can't wait to get my panther! What type of trees are in the cage with two trees in it? I'm going to home depot tomorrow to buy a new stand for the new cage and a new stand for my leopard gecko. So I could get one of those to go with my shefflera plant. Also if you could show me how your mistking is set up now I'd love the help. My mistking should be in by Friday hopefully. If not I'll use my monsoon for the time being. Just some picks of the hoses running into the back and then concealed with the top bar. It'd help me out a lot. Considering mordecai (My Jackson's), is my first chameleon I've ever had. He's doing so well and I think I have a knack for caring for these amazing creatures. I love the little guy Thanks again!

The trees in the second cage that looks barren on the bottom are both Hibiscus.
If you have any issues with the MK, you can send me a PM, but its pretty straight forward.
The line in these cages runs through the trap door in the back, then Id recommend running it up a tree or something to hide the line, or you could use 1/4" straps to secure it along a corner. Running it tightly around a tree or branch works fine though, just make sure its secure, the more unsecured it is, the more it will shake.
The MK uses a diaphragm pump, so its not a constant stream, but a very rapid succession of bursts, which works quite well, but that is why is shakes. Shaking=unhappy chameleon, so securing the line is a must, some way or another, from pump to nozzle. Feel free to be creative though, as long as its held down tightly.
The top bar is a flat piece bent to create a bar, with one side(I want to say its the top side) left open. This open slit is where the line will fit. You will have to drill it, and run the line through the hole, or tape the line securely with electrical tape to ensure it doesnt lose placement/pop out.
I do not keep at the moment and my equipment is in storage, so I cant get specific pictures ;/ I will see if I can find any, but it will take alot of looking through millions of pictures to be sure there are none So no promises ;/

You want to pop out the ones at the very top so the two L brackets holding the frame come out, top up. Get a drill bit about the size of the center of the rivet and screw right through it. That will pop the rivet, both mine came out in one piece but sometimes you may have to get a small pin to clean out the debris of the rivet so you can lift the top off. I will get a pic of mine today. I ended up using slightly thicker acrylic so i had to take off one piece of the black foam holding the acrylic in (which you will see when you take the acrylic out.
I replaced the rivets with small screws, you cannot even tell and it looks great. I will get a pic of it today as there are only two that you need to do that to.

I have a hanging pothos hooked to mine. It seems pretty strong although I worried about it at first but seems to be holding well.

Sure thing. Here is the misting holes on my 18x18x36. It is empty so easier to take the pic. I would say they are located about mid way down on the right if looking in from the front of the cage. They are plugged from the outside with rubber like gaskets. My larger cage that Waldo is in, is the same way, Same location but you can't see his as good because of the plants. The fear part you see is acrylic they built into the cage. I have a false background on the outside but if not you could see all the way through.

Does anyone have concern about the potential for a chameleon seeing their reflection, or the reflection of feeders in the plexiglass?
My 2x2x4 PennPlax is a beautiful cage, but there are about 10 toungue sized smudges on the door. I witnessed this once, and believe he was shooting at a reflection of a feeder.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thoughts on if this is harmful to the chameleon? My panther who resides in the PennPlax has a persistant orange tint to his urate, and I have been concerned the the reflection is making him too shy to drink. Thoughts?
