New owner

Hey i had a quick question. my chameleon doesn't come in till tomorrow but i'm going to be setting up my enclosure today to get ready for the little guy.. (gf wants to name it Sheldon even though we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet) my question is that i got this fogger. i've read a little pamphlet at my local pet shop that said that that would be ok if i had a fogger or a mister. so i got the fogger because of the coolness in my opinion.. is that something ok to have or would a mister be better?

Welcome to the chameleon forums. I would highly recommend a mister. If you don't want to buy a mister if you or your gf are around through the day you can hand mist. I have a blog for new keeper attached below. If you are getting a veiled or panther you should find if helpful.

he just arrived this morning... (well.. don't know if he's a he or a she yet...) my dad was at my apartment since i was at work and sent me a pic.. such a cutie! when i get home, i'll take a better pic and post it!

so i'm curious.. should i not be handling my cham with how old she is? i've seen some people say that you shouldn't hold if they're under 6 months.. but i've gotten Amy out a few times by putting my hand down and her walking on then i sit down on the couch and just let her crawl all over me. she doesn't seem to be stressed by it but i just wanted to make sure i'm doing the right thing hehe.. thanks!
