New owner of jackson

Hi, I'm a brand new chameleon owner and I got a male Jackson today! I know he's fairly young, but no one could tell me how old he is. Also, I was wondering if you could just tell me more about him and tips for jacksons. But he is eating fine and barely turned dark..ish when I put him into his new home. If it makes a difference, I got him from Petsmart. He seemed sad in a really small cage with 2 darker females. Anyway, thanks in advance!

Read around on jackson cham threads on the search engine.
Look at some blogs about food and suppliments!
They like a good basking area but most of the cage is cooler.Mist and spray as often as you can. multiple times a day and even use a dripper when your gone all day!

Okay, here you go:

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Jacksons, Male, and the Pet store associates couldnt tell me how old he was. Wanted help with that. Only had him 2 days.
Handling - I'm hesitant to handle him because he has been here only 2 days. I tried once but he turned dark and ran away. I would appreciate tips on this.
Feeding - Small crickets Probably around 8-10 per day. I'm giving them Fluker's Orange Cubes.
Supplements - I dust them with Flukers Calcium with Vitamin D3. I plan on doing it once per week.
Watering - I plan on getting a mister, but now I'm using a misting squirt bottle and spraying every hour or so for 10 or 15 seconds. I think I might've seen him drink once.
Fecal Description - No testing has been done of my knowledge. I havent really seen much of his feces.
History - Just that I got him from Petsmart and they couldn't tell me how old he is, which made me sort of sad.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Reptibreeze screen cage 16'' x 16'' x 20''
Lighting - Not sure of the brands, but I could take a picture. I have a long uvb light with a basking light hanging above the tank. I have timed lights that go from 8 am to 8 pm.
Temperature - Setting up a temperature gauge today. House stays around 70 degrees. He has a nice warm basking spot. Not sure exactly how hot yet.
Humidity - I have a gauge that I'm setting up later today.
Plants - Using fake plants at the moment.
Placement -The cage is on my dresser at about 5-6 feet off the ground. No vents of fans near it. Window is across the room. I'm usually the only one in the room. It is in MY room.
Location - I live in Western Washington State.
