new owner of four horned cham...have questions

i need to know some specifics on the care of the quadricornis...what wattage basking bulb do they require because of the low temps that they need..i believe the temp cannot go above 77F..as far as a uvb bulb do i use the reptisun 5.0 like i use for my panthers and oustalets....and anything about their feeding habits or absolutely anything that somebody knows about this species that could be helpful to me...thanks

Hello and welcome. Quads are my favorite cham in the world. I love mine to pieces.

I let basking spots get to 78 -80 but make sure they can get to a location that is no more the 70 if they want out of the heat. Everyone has their own way but i like a lot of humidity for my quads. Daytime will be high of 85% low to 45% and at night I keep it at about 80 - 85%. I let night temps drop into the low 60's. food seems to not be a big thing with quads. They just like to eat. Mine eat dubia, crickets, superworms & when i have them silkworms and they love houseflys for a treat. Different ones will have favorites but will usually eat what is offered.

I use the same lights and cages as the rest of my chams. Well except for my love- lenny. he free ranges in his own room.:D It is about 16 by 20 but he makes due.

I am more that willing to talk quads anytime you want. i will also sent you a pm with a link or two.
