Welcome to the forums!

My friends Panther will often go to his sleeping spot about 20-30 mins just before lights out and that's at about 20:30.

He's usually back up about 20-30 minutes before lights on at 8:30.

He shouldn't be sleeping during the day so that in itself is somewhat of a guide to go on.

Welcome to the forum -Lights on for 12 hours and off for 12 is a good basic - Some go for longer in the summer - no light (even a heat light) at night - Mine are actually 13 on 11 off at this point as it gives me time to feed them in the morning before work and check on them when I get home- they tend to be in their sleeping colors by the time I get home but it takes a lot less time in the morning now that I've been doing it for a while i'm cutting down there morning time. Since they go to bed pretty early I cover their cages - the care sheet for panthers is a good place to start -
Your panther is very handsome - you might want to check out the enclosure section in the resources at top of page- pet stores love selling substrate but it can be ingested and your better off without it - there's a lot of other good information that will save you from all the mistakes I made with my first (well actually second as there was no forum when I got my first) (they had just invented the wheel)
