New juvi arriving in am. Temps?

I have a four month old male juvi veiled arriving tomorrow. So excited Just set up his Screen terrarium. Basking spot is 80 degrees. With a 75 watt. Does it need to be warmer??

Congrats on your new little one. What size cage is he going in? Will you be able to achieve a good temp gradient from top to bottom? Other wise if he is sort of small I would make sure he has a lot of cover, and if he seems hot, get a smaller watt light.

We always need to see pictures. Everyone here loves cham pictures.

I have an 18x18x36. So do u think it might be too warm? I was worried that was too cold. 78-80 in basking spot.

Also for misting is tap water ok to use if it sits for 24 hours?

I will def post pics. He is arriving in am. Yay!!

I think you will be just fine in that sized cage. where are you located? If it is still warm, I am in Montana, it is 27f right now, taking your cham outside for a bit of real sunshine is wonderful. Just be careful to watch him and not let him get too hot.
