New journey Bluchin

Enclosure upgrades have begun. He started in a 2x2x4 now he has a double! he’s gonna be 2yrs old in November and I figured he well past ready for a bigger enclosure. When spring came and he started roaming, I knew it was time. Here’s a pic of the current and my boy enjoying his new stick. Not so happy about shedding or me staring at him but I can’t help it he’s too cute! Big boofer. I’ll be adding more plants (I had to remove some in his old cage they were dead from water logging) and sticks as he needs and expanding more when the time comes but for now he’s a happy boy!
He’s growing like crazy since exiting brumation. Weigh in coming soon. Last check in was March at 401g.
I know it’s hard to tell but the back legs on this guy are massive. I’ve never seen anything like it .

Neo is such a beautiful girl!!! I didn’t realize females got that big. hopefully someday I will get one but we’ll see, I’m afraid of girls and eggs. My carpet cham Zelda just does them anywhere so she’s easy but the others oof, not confident enough.
I can keep Blu happy and healthy for a long time and he grows to be as big as he’s supposed to be. Boy makes me feel like I have an infant again

So far, she's already 3 years with me, no egg laying issues. She hasn't laid any nor showed signs of being receptive. She's almost 4 now.
I wish she would get as big as the males
