New journey Bluchin

Aren’t they funny! This guy came only eating crickets and super worms. He has since had silkies, dubia, discoids. I tried horn worms, he was not having it lol I will try snails and locusts and morio beetles for sure. I’m always looking for varieties to try. Thanks for the tips. 😊

Beginning the transition from a little boy to a big boy right before our eyes.

Where do you get snails at?

I haven’t found a place I feel comfortable yet making the purchase. I believe it’s land snails they eat and I have only found them on eBay. I’m too nervous to buy from eBay to feed my babies lol
What some have done is promptly separate the eggs from the snails and hatch them in a clean environment. Then you have clean and parasite free snails for feeders.

Dang. I’d love to try snails one day but only if they are safe

How do you breed them though? That’s the part I don’t get. What do uou feed the snails? Do I put them in a bin with dirt???
