New Jackson Chemelon color stressed?

Hi this is my second time having a chameleon other then a Veild i Choose to purchase a jackson Chameleon from underground reptiles. WHen i first opened him up in the mail he was bright green now he is a dark firty green since i put him in his cageing. I caught him when he was sleeping and he was bright green.

-I have him on eco earth
-Screen Cage 16x16x20
-branches
-Mist daily UVB bulb but is making him get natual light till i can get a tropical UVB
-Drip system which he is drinking from
- And is eating crickets very well


What am i dont wrong that his color is such dul brownish green. Please help!!

Let him CHILLax to his new environment for a few days. Your enclosure is a tad small though...

that looks like the regular jacksons chams that I see in all NY pet and reptile stores and they all look like that, bright green when sleeping, dark green throughout the day. get used to seeing him like that. If you want an all green and yellow jacksons, next time look into getting a mount kenyan jacksons from www.flchams.com or melrito, she breeds them and is a member of this forum.
