Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forums but certainly not new to chameleons. I've had a few in my time with great success, both free ranged and caged. I've recently become extremely enamored with Melleri's and have been in the research and planning phase for the past few weeks. So far I have found this site to be informative and certainly feeds my need to see pics of CB Melleri. :p

On a side note, does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to post in the Melleri forum?

Thanks,

Luis

Hello Luis and welcome to the Forums. I'm only guessing but sometimes you have to be a member for a certain amount of time to use different sections of the forums. That might be one of those sections. Jann

I'm sure that's what it is as well. Well, hopefully I will be able to contribute a bit more once we're up and running with ours again, but until then I'll have to browse around and throw in my 2 cents here and there...

welcome

welcome!! We also live in fl, not too far from orlando, closer to St. Augustine;)

I figured there would be a larger number of you in Florida. Growing up in new england I would often encounter yellowed pictures of outdoor cages labeled from Florida. Now that I'm here, I want a cooler species! Go figure... :p

Jann, Thanks for the info on the vet. That was next on my list to do before purchasing anything. Do you know if he handles snakes as well? I have a pair of Hybrid Carpet Pythons, Morelia sp., and would like to find a someone I can trust with them.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Its been a long time since I've cared for any chameleon so we're rather excited to get back into it. I will say, time does teach patience as I'm not nearly as hasty with any aspect of this project.

well thanks again everyone!
