Hello everyone! Just thought I would introduce myself being new and all. I'm in the process of getting a new cham. Still deciding between a male Veiled or Panther. I have kept Jackson's and Veiled before but it's been about ten years since I owned a chameleon. I currently own leopard geckos, crested geckos, millipedes, tarantulas, toads and all the dubia roaches they want.

I will soon be posting pics of my new chameleon. I hope to have one within the next few weeks or so. I feel I've done enough research and am ready for one. Funny how 10 years ago, not much was out there in terms of husbandry much less breeders. I'm just glad I found this site.

Greg

I am liking you already! Hello fellow Bears fan!!!! So you are a Butkus fan I take it!? I proudly wear my #54 every sunday and have #34 on the back of my SUV. I am from Chicago originally but live in florida now for 22 years but am a die hard fan! How bout them Bears today!? Collins was horrible and thank god Cutler will be back next week! So getting back to the reason you are here....Welcome to the forum!!!! Greg, you have come to the right place!!!

From one new member to another. Welcome!

Millipedes you say? Ive always thought they were pretty cool. Never thought about one as a pet. Is it an African Giant or something else?

I bleed Blue and Orange! Through & through!. lol. Yeah, we need Cutler back. Collins was not ready at all. Just hope the O-line holds up for him though. We shall see.

Thanks a lot everyone for your comments. I plan on going to the swap in my area next weekend. There are a couple of breeders that sell there. I can't wait!

Not an African Giant although I did have one a couple of years ago. I now have 2.1 Florida millipedes. They are kept inside the terrarium that houses my crested geckos. They help to aerate the soil as well as eat some of the gecko droppings.

Haha! i love it! I bleed the same colors also!!! I actually kinda felt sorry for Collins. It was just a horrible debut for him. I sent you a friend request! Us Bears fans gotta stick together! so, I have a Sambava. He is really beautiful, but then they all are!!! there are some pics of him in my album if ya wanna check that locale out. do you still live in Chicago or do you live somewhere else?

Great looking Cham you have there. My first choice is a Panther. Doesn't really matter the locale since I think they're all beautiful.

Still live in the southside of Chicago, born and raised!

Thanks for the compliment! I love my chameleon. He is my one and only...for now! It is hard to decide because as I said there is no such thing as an ugly panther no matter which locale you pick! I used to live 127th and Halsted Street way back in the day. Then my family moved to South holland which is near the Indiana border. I like Florida but I am a Chicago girl at heart and always will be! Good luck choosing you chameleon and be sure and post some pics when you get him!!!.

Thats pretty handy. I had thought milipedes were omnivorous. It would scare me to keep them with another animal, but they are pretty docile.

Hello & thanks for joining us. You will find a lot of people here who are chamcrazy. That is a untreatable condition. But you have lots of people here for a support group. We will all help you understand and live with your condition.:D:D
