I wish they had them at petstores here. People have to smuggle them in from Nevada, I think. They are illegal in California.

I tried the ferret thing....could never get mine litterbox trained and I'm not diligent enough about cleaning the cage like twice a day to keep the smell away

Cuties so are they able to control their waste? I love furry babies (always adopted and not bought of course!) but it's a pain when you want to hold one and it poops and pees all over you. I somehow manage to almost always pick up my guinea pigs when they have to pee. My tortoise pees/poops on me too. My boyfriends gecko poops one me as well. I'm just a poop/pee magnet for animals. . My chameleons even go on me sometimes!

hahahhah thats weird i have never seen a ferret just "go" on someone unless they are just terrified. thats the only time they do just let it out, otherwise they are very cleanly animals. most will use only one corner to go potty in the litter box. i love my ferrets! and since this post ive got a third lol she i adopted from a girl who didnt want her.

they are just adorable, so cute. i have 10 all rescues all with differnt problems, my latest one bramble (hob poley) gave me a new ear percing the other day thought he was teddie ( my sweet poley they look like twins) who normally sits on my shoulder , found out it wast when he went straight through my ear
all good though , love them all to peices , salem my eldest is 6 now and still bounces round the garden like a loon. also found there new stash hidey place found stuff i thought i had lost lol

OMG he looks just like my old ferret Tiger! Too cute! I would love to own ferrets again, they make great pets! I had a special bond with one i called lucky Lucy, i was only a kid (round 9) and she was 6weeks old when the dog attacked her. The vet wanted to put her to sleep but i wouldn't let them, after a couple of weeks of cleaning her bottom hand feeding her, given her water by syringe and medicine, just being her mother really she pulled through and went on to live till she was 5. Tho she didn't grow very big unlike her siblings. She was awesome, used to lick my face every time i got her out, it broke my heart the day she died. I also had a blind ferret called freckles, my dad found him while out walking, he'd been hit on the head with something that caused him to go blind, i used to take him for walks on a harness, lol.

aw thats sad but im happy you nursed her back to health! my first ferret when i was 6 was named lucy! :] me and my mommy loved her!! lol i love ferrets ill always have a few<3 and thats great you rescued all 10!! there are not many shelters here or i would have asopted alot more. for me to adopt i go on craigs list and thats not always promising. lol put up some pics of yours!!
