Tommorow, We are getting hard wood floors in my room, and thats also my chams room. What do I do to move him? How do I not scare him? How long should I keep him out of the room?

Just move the cage to the other room. Once you can't smell fumes any more move it back into the room.

Don't worry too much about scarring him. It may cause a little stress but he will be fine.
