I had one that wouldnt eat out of white. Only dark coloured bowls worked for him.
I wouldnt suggest clear glass (possibility of trying to shoot tongue through sides of the container - risk of injury)

I did try a dark bowl prior to this one and he was afraid of it, like most of the others so far after switching to roaches. The glass one is very thick and distorts the view through the sides heavily making it hard to tell what you're looking at. It also has a fine layer of the dusting I used on the roaches after a night of scurrying around, and the easiest access to it is from a vine above it to encourage eating from there.
If he does start trying to shoot through the sides, it will be removed promptly, of course.

Well I added a few crickets in to see if it was the bowl or the roaches he didn't like and he ate them up right away, making sure not to get any roaches.
There is one roach missing, but until I see him actually eat one, I'm not convinced.

I think I'm going to give him a break on the roaches and try superworms instead.
I tried adding crickets into the roach mix and he just ended up picking off the crickets with sniper like precision, but not touching any roaches.
Now I've removed the roaches and added an ample supply of super worms with a couple crickets to the dish, but with similar results. This time he hasn't eaten two crickets yet, but I have managed to feed him 3 or 4 super worms by placing them on a branch and letting him snatch them up.
No I'm starting to think it has a lot less to do with the feeders and more to do with something I haven't considered yet..

For any one who was helping out on this thread;
My cham has gone back to his normal behavior and eating habits.
It turns out the root of the problem had nothing to do with the feeders or dish used or the arrangement of everything in the cage.
The problem ended up being people handling him without me around and without my knowledge.
My roommate and his ******* friend had taken it upon themselves to handle him when ever they saw fit. Mind you, neither of them have any experience or knowledge relating to chameleons and I can only imagine what this poor little guy went through thanks to them.
I found out because my roommate mentioned taking him out while I wasn't around and the weird colors he changed to.
Shortly after that his buddy decide to walk into my room with me there and help himself to my chameleon without permission.
Needless to say this ended with me telling him he wasn't welcome in my house if this is what he saw as acceptable behavior.
Since then I've laid down some ground rules about my chameleon. Rules I thought would go with out saying, but turns out I was wrong. And since he has started eating again and has gone back to his usual colors.
I still haven't tried reintroducing the roaches. I figured I'd let things settle down a bit before changing it up again, but he has started eating super worms from my hand almost every time i offer them, so that's some major progress!
Any way, Thanks for the tips and advice everyone!
