New Charges

Ha!
I told Trace last night that she was so small I could snort her:rolleyes:
Without a picture (and late at night) this is how I could best describe her size.
Just for clarification, I do not have a habit of "snorting" anything ... it was late;)

Is every two hours too often to check eggs? Ha!

-Brad[/QUOTE]

Of course not:D

She looks like a very nice piece of nose candy:rolleyes: She does look good and that is a funny comparison!! I hope all goes well with the rest!!

My little one is doing well. Eating 1/8 inch crickets today.
Still no siblings
I am aware that clutches often hatch out over a period of time ... but only one so far and she is a week old today.
I wonder if transporting the eggs here caused a delay.
There is one egg that is nearly the size of my thumb and so green ... every morning I expect to see it hatching .... sooo hard to be patient:rolleyes:
Anywho, our little girl is 2 inches long from tip to tip now, Our 5 year old named her "Von" ... no idea where that came from, but it is her name.

This afternoon a second egg slit and there was part of a chameleon head (nose+) poking out ... this evening it appears to have gone back in:rolleyes:

Mabey he just changed his mind, "Ahhh this egg is kinda warm, I'll let him wait".:D I can only imagine the patience it takes to sit on eggs for that period of time. I'd be like a 5yr old on Christmas morning wanting to open the eggs up myself...

Note to self: "Stay away from others chameleon eggs"!! :(

Congrats!

Congratulations on the eggs. The parents are beautiful, especially that female.

It is pretty typical for one egg to hatch before others. The even harder to wait for period is after the bulk of them hatch out and a few eggs remain. I've had those go another month before hatching. Do you have a video camera Brad? I can't think of anything cuter than a video of baby chams doing what baby chams do (the hurky jerky dance). More pictures please........

Awesome Brad sounds like everything is going well.... that one giant egg I think will a big male just like his dad! Good luck and thanks again! They should be amazing chams!!!

That big egg is ridiculous ... I was speculating that it might be twins.
Here are a couple of pics of Von and #2.
What's amazing to me is that #2 (on the left) is the size of Von who hatched out over a week before.
# 3 and now #4 are working on getting out.

I just had a butch hatch about 6 weeks ago i find that the ones that take off growin are usually females the males linger behind a few weeks this always happens with veileds for me any you guys notice this ? I see your first to hatch was a female Brad.

They look great Brad!!! Isnt it awesome!! Its definatly a better high than snorting them up your nose back in the 80s:p Im sure you will do great with them and post all the progress:). Congrats again!!!

Alright ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz my updates must be boring people:rolleyes:.

There are four in the nursery now.

2.1.1 (one is still ??? there seems to be a spur, but it's not as obvious as the other two ... I'm leaning toward male but we'll see)

Also, two more eggs have heads sticking out of them.
The giant egg remains intact ... can't wait to see what emerges from it:eek:

I'll post more pictures soon.
