New chameleon!!!

CAMTHECHAM

New Member
Hey everyone!
New to this forum.
Just wanted to share my chameleon with you guys!
He is a 5 month old (red bar?) ambilobe panther chameleon and I got him about 3 weeks ago.
The reason I question red bar is (you will see in the pictures) it looks like he is coming in with purple bars!
Also, I have my setup shown:
It has a zoomed double dome heat/uvb 5.0 lights.
fake plants as well as some vines and sticks.
Drip tray (for now).
Dripper (cup with a pin sized hole in it.)
I hand mist about 5 times a day and at other times but want to invest in an automatic mister.
I am also drawing up plans for a big huge enclosure (divided) for two chameleons (I am going to get a female ambilobe soon).
Speaking of which...if anyone has any nice red bar females they would like to get rid of i would be happy to negotiate a price (but not right away)
Anyway here he is!!!
Names are welcome!

Very cute and very colorful. When they are developing colors, the darker ones usually start off as black and slowly lighten up. Purple is part red, so it's probably going to become either a bright red or maroon color, although it is hard to say. They probably will not remain black/purple.
Very nice cage, only thing I would say is maybe you could fill up the space a little more? Some more plants/branches/vines would be good for him.

Also, take a look at this: (I'm not saying anything is wrong with your husbandry, just saying it can never hurt to be more informed or confirm that you're doing well)

Really love him, he's gonna do great in your care!!
