New chameleon owner he's mad!

Hello guy I am a new chameleon owner I have a vield chameleon
I went down stairs to check on him and he was puffy , he started to calm down but I have not done anything to him he has been hanging to the top of the cage near where the UVB Light bulb is near , I am not sure if that's causing him stress or something , i feel like he even want to be more near it almost touching it help guys any suggestions ?

They will hang upside down like that, especially when you first get them. The UVB light will not harm them as they really don't produce any heat, so not to worry. The basking light however, is hot and they will also choose to go under this while hanging upside down. They usually figure out pretty quick it is hot and should move. If they don't and you are there, turn the basking light off.
