New chameleon owner help

Hello I recently got a baby chameleon today and I have no clue how to take care of it. Currently I have his uv light a water dripper and a mist. My questions are: will I need a basking light too or will the uv light be enough? Do I need to turn the uv light (and basking light off if needing one) off at night? How can I tame him so he isn't afraid of humans and doesn't get so stressed out (the guy at the pet store grabbed him and he turned black)? Once he's tamed how long can I leave him out of his crate?
Thank you guys so much for your help!! He was a gift from my boyfriend

yes you should have a basking light and a uv light as well , you should use the uv light aprox 8 hrs and the other one for around 12 hrs . to tame it , you should handle him/ she as much as possible so they will get used to it , they are really solitary animals that don't like being bothered so they will never really be fans of being grabbed . you should always take them out when cleaning but never leave them out very long .

Ok great!!! And will he be ok without a basking light until tomorrow around 12:00 pm? I got him around 11:00 am today? Also he isn't really eating the crickets? Is that normal for a baby chameleon

I think he/she should be fine , but you should get the light ASAP . and yea , I rarely see my Cham eat them , just give him / her time to get adapted to their new home

He's a veiled chameleon, I am using a mister system the humidy stays between 40-50 (that's in the green area on the humidity thermometer) so far I have a tank with caged lid (opened lid that has holes everywhere. That's the best I can explain it lol ) I only have crickets at the moment. That's what my boyfriend told me they normally ate. I'm not too sure how old he is. Hes really small through
