Maybe if I add a stick right by the window he will stop it's good to know someone else has this problem lmao I just keep thinking hes gonna break one of his toe nails off

But if that ever does happen what should I do, do the nails grow back? I want to be prepared just in case

Depends on how they break them. Beman broke one off as a juvenile and it was a clean break and it did not get infected. That is the concern though sometimes it will get infected depending on how it breaks. To my knowledge they do not grow back.

Will he be less balanced if he loses one did it change bemans behavior at all did he learn his lesson?

Well in my case jasmine cut one of her nails (we don't know when or how) but it wasonly a bit of the nail missing, not the whole nail. She is fine and was completely unfazed by this. I don't think your cham will be unblanced if he loses a nail. Worse case is the whole nail rips out and the wound get infected.

Should I cover the window I just figured he would like to look outside he stands on the back dragon ledge I have when he wants to look out the window but everytime I see him climbing I just go over to his cage and "yell at him" it kind of seems to be working but I just dont want him to fall and hurt himself is there really no way to detour them from screen climbing?

I would not cover the window; it's still "enrichment" IMO.
Yelling at him won't accomplish anything; chameleons don't have ears, so he can't hear you anyway. ?
There are probably ways of deterring them from climbing the screens, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. As zefrank1 would say, "That's how chameleons do."

Regardless of how well we care for them, they are still animals, and animals are—and always will be—animals. Losing a claw or part thereof) has been discussed much here—check the archives and/or google; there will also be information on treating short of taking them to a herp vet.
