New cham sleeping during day

I have a 4.5 month old panther. I just got him yesterday and he has been spending a lot of time today sleeping under his light with his tail curled up. I also saw him yawn this morning. He got 10 hours of darkness last night and maybe he just didn't sleep much cuz its a new place for him. He also is rubbing his eye on branches but people say this is normal. Is it okay for him to be sleeping?

He also hasn't moved around much today. He's eaten 4 crickets about 5 hours ago, but hasn't shown interest since then.he is alert when I stand near his cage or when he sees me coming in, other than that his eyes are closed
