My Chameleon, Reptar, always runs/hides whenever I open the door to the cage. Lately he seems to be becoming more relaxed. He doesn't run too much now. I took him out today and tried to hand feed him a cricket and superworm. He didn't take for either. What was weird though is he fell asleep on my arm, during the day at 2:30PM. He lightened up a lot and had one eye closed (as if he was sleeping) and another eye looking at the superworm and my hand. This is when I decided to put him up. Usually when I put him back inside his cage he is reaching and trying to get to a branch ASAP. This time I put him close to the branch and he just sat there. About 20-30 seconds later it's like he all of a sudden realized where he was and ran for the branch. What do you guys make of this?

Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Crickets and super worms. I feed him until he wont eat, it is usually 3-5 crickets/superworms every other day. im just using apple for gutloading, i know i need more. I will be ordering cricket crack very soon.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? Right now I have Repivite which I have given him once. I am thinking about 1-2 times a month. I also have calcium with D3, I have given that to him once. I will do 1-2 times a month on that. On my to order list is a calcium without D3 to give to him every other feeding.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
I am manually misting 2-3 times a day for 30-60 seconds. The humidity stays at about 60-80%. I saw him drinking at the beginning, but now I don't see him drink, but I also don't sit around usually after mistings. I am ordering a MistKing very soon. He does seem to be beginning his first shedding in my care.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
Consistent, solid, urine is white. No, he has not been tested. I got him recently from a breeder.
