what breeder is he from? like a random local breeder? how did you know you wanted him if you dont know what locale he is? (being ambilobe, nosy be, ambanja, etc..) i guess if i were you id contact them and just ask what locale he is and how old he is (or when he hatched)

just curious..

also, do you have him in a hamster cage or something? (i see something in the background) he will outgrow it pretty fast so be prepared to get another cage if that is what he is in.

sweet i was in local petland and they had zero chameleons. Mind if i ask how much petland was selling the chams without your workers discount of course. was just curious, thanks.

Funny story when I went into petland lol a group of guys were in there and was thinking about purchasing a python or boa whatever im not a snake guy lol.. he didnt wanna stick his hand in the cage and i overheard his girl go oh just pick it up haha none of them wanted to touch it but finally did. I was laughing in my head. I went up to them and was watching. one guy wouldn't touch it but looked back and saw me and he caved and held it haha guess he didn't wanna look non macho in front of me lol.

Haha we typically have a higher price then normal. Right around 450 on average

Ahh wow thanks for the heads up on that. I was kinda disappointed they didn't have any to look at in person. I went in there anyways to get a zilla/prob thermo/humid anyways lol.. petsmart only had flukers but yeah i love to go look at all the pets. Now I have a temperature gun coming lol.

I've caught the chameleon bug hard. I'm already thinking up a free range setup in a spare room lol.

I work at Petland and have for 5 years he is in the bio bubble till he gets bigger I have a fogger and a basking light and a UVB light on him..he is really active and he is a red bar I found out today

I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.106799,-95.612208

Explain what a bio bubble is please. If it is what I am thinking, it is not acceptable to keep a chameleon in. they might be doing it at your pet store, but no offense but 9 times out of 10 they do not have the proper enclosures, lighting, etc for them.

Hi, congratulation on the new arrival!!:)
I got my red bar ambilobe 3 days ago!! Is 4 months old and really look like yours!:D

Show me a pic of the little guy.. And go to biobubble pets .com I have two lights for him a UVB and also a basking they are a foot above the dome because of a green house affect . I have hyrdo balls under frog moss at the bottom for perfect humidity I also have a fogger for the size he is right now that is all he needs
