new arrival

my new guy came yesterday morning. 3 month old red bar ambilobe from kammers. he is a lot smaller then i had expected. i will post some pics tomorrow. he ate 5 crickets yesterday and 4 today.should he be eating more? today he was pretty shy. very hard to find him in his enclosure.

I'm surprised that he has eaten as much as he has! You'll def want to offer up more when he's nice and settled. Can't wait to see the pics!

Like Panther envy said, I'm sure he is just adjusting to his new home, nothing to be worried about unless it goes on for like 2 weeks lol believe me he will be breaking the bank pretty soon and eating a ton. But looking forward to see him!

Hey, what am I, chopped liver?? Two wks would be a lil long IMO. He should be eating like a champ within days. Try and not handle him for a week.

Lol sorry, forgot to say you also. But no I meant if he is a jerk and doesn't want to eat for a few days longer than expected then sure, I would worry. Yeah the handling is big, but definitely try to hand feed him, that a way you can get the trust built up enough for him to sort of get used to your presence, because we all know most chameleons aren't a fan of handling lol
