I just got my cham yesterday. He was a lot smaller than I had anticipated, only 3 weeks. The breeder said he ate right before he left to meet me yesterday evening, so I wasn't worried when he didn't eat last night. I did see him drinking a couple of times. My husband got him to eat 4 crickets this morning, but he didn't dust them first. When I got home, I dusted some and tried cup feeding, and he wouldn't eat. I am afraid to free range them just yet, bc they are so small and hard to catch, and he is so small I'm really afraid of him getting attacked, though I think there are 2 loose in there. Are 4 crickets ok for a baby his age? Should I aim for that at every feeding? I am also a little concerned that the one time he ate today, he didn't get his calcium. I'm just kind of freaking out bc he is so tiny and I know I have to be extra vigilant about everything. I just need some reassurance and advice on this whole feeding thing. I'm happy he ate, but wishing he would eat more. What do you all think? I just want him to be okay.
