I've noticed Panthers tend to savor the flavor so to speak compared to my Veiled who just inhales food. Tye will launch his tongue harder and faster but keeps the cricket in his mouth halfway out like a snake for about a good minute before he even trys to chew.

Ok that makes sense because my fat veileds inhale there food. They are like the Cookie Monster with food

Maybe they're just making sure it's dead before they begin digestion? Idk but it's interesting watching the difference in these two species

Update. Close to 5 months old. Still wants nothing to do with me but is looking good
