Neonate's Close Call

I almost lost one of my rudis babies. My favorite girl Jelly Bean had nine little ones while I was at work. While collecting them I noticed one laying on the bottom of the cage not moving. I thought it was still born but when I went to pick him up he moved. Upon closer inspection I noticed the pink sack still on part of his head.
Using a wet Q-tip I tried to smooth it off, but it was wrapped under his neck. After a couple minutes I manged to free the little guy and do you know what he did? He gaped at my finger as if he was trying to bite
I hope he continues to be feisty, and as he survived the night I take it as a good sign.:D

Thanks, I was glad not to see any still-born in this clutch. First time we've had 100% live birth. She looked so good when she was pregnant though, so round and bright green. The little princess required food to be sent up to her, she would not move from her perch (as far as I saw) in the last two weeks. Moving everywhere and eating like a horse now. (She looks so skinny now )
