I was wondering if anyone knows why the poop is pinkish and white?

ill kick up her mistings to every hour until they turn white again. right now i have my mistking for my 3 cages at 10am shuts off at 10:02am then 12pm shuts off at 12:02 and so on until 8pm so i can let the cages dry for bedtime at about 10.

How long has that poop been in there? Popeye poops every 10 days or so and he often has orange part to his poop and the rest is white.

Is it a panther cham?
Poop should have the urates attached, part of it may be pinkish, then turning white.
One orangey urate does not really mean your cham is dehydrated, just keep checking them. If they do tend to be orange/red, and it continues, or gets worse, then your cham is not drinking enough water.

I have found with my 3 cages and 3 species that it's hard to get them all drinking as they all drink differently - but I ended up with longer mistings farther apart instead of more often- my panther would just look at me like he wanted me to die every when the mister would go off too often and the jackson wouldn't drink - I ended up with two long mistings with a short in the middle- and using a dripper for the Jackson. When I skipped an afternoon misting the panther would drink the next session where he would just sit there and wait till it was over if it was too short and too often. (I never see my flapneck drink but her urates are always white) I've had to adjust a bit but actually ended up with less short mistings -

That's what I do too, but I don't use mist nozzles anymore, I use my home made rain rings. I was finding, after watching them from a distance (they tend to act different when they know I am watching) and they were not drinking from the mistking. In fact, they were running away from it.

They all have their own way of drinking, and it can be really hard to get them to do it!!
Sometimes, I go through a few quarts of water just to get their mouth to start moving!!

I would set up an auto dripper. I have found that my chameleons drink more and stay very hydrated with an auto dripper for their drinking water and use the mister only to increase humidity.

I use a Tom's aqua lifter pump. You can get them on Amazon for $2-10, at least that is what I paid for mine. You plug the pump into a cheap timer that allows you to set multiple on and off times. Then route a 1/4" tube from a reservoir to the pump, then to the desired location in the cage. I then also use a flow regulator to set the dripping to the desired interval. Keep in mind that the aqua lifter is not the strongest pump in the world, so it can only lift water ~40 inches. I have a table next to my cham cages, so I put the reservoir (a 5 gallon bucket with a lid) on the table. Oh, and I have found that the pump works best if it is placed at or near the top of the cage and pulls the water up rather than pushing it.
