Need some advice on this!

Im working to build trust with my incredible shy baby cham Stella. I try handfeed her as often as I can but she wont always approve with it.

So today I approached her slowly with my hand and she started headbang my finger as usually but I let it be until I stopped. Can this be good practice for her to learn that my hand is not worth fighting against and is not a predator?

I didn't really handle Cami much when we got her as a baby only because I read that it could stress them out. And being a 1st time cham owner I didn't want to do that. But being the way I am.. I did handle her maybe once a week in the beginning and increased as she got older. She was always stubborn as a youngin to remove from her cage but I was very persistent and patient with her.

I would just watch her a lot so she could at least get familiar with my face. And misting the cage so she could get used to my hand being near. Not sure if it worked but she drinks from the spraybottle I use now. I even give her kisses on her back and she just stares at me. LOL!

I'm doing the same to our babyboy Zeke and he seems to be getting used to it too.

Lol! Well Zeke, being a boy, def likes to gape, hiss and flatten out when we take him out but I dont ever pull away in fear or show him im scared. If he bites me then so be it, luckily it hasnt gotten that far. He's just all talk but I put him in his place and show him who's boss... Otherwise he'll always act that way and think he can get a fearful reaction. NOT ON MY WATCH BUDDY!

Anyway... That's just how I am and what I did. Cami is pretty much used to us and Zeke is showing progress. Although neither willingly just crawl onto our hand.. Just need a little coaxing. Gluck!
