Need Safe Disinfectant for Day Old Gracilior

One of my baby graciliors that hatched yesterday had a bit of egg yolk outside the body.

I contacted a dear friend who is an avian vet with lots of work with reptiles as well. He's overseas and might not get my follow up question to his advice.

He recommended I clean the area with a mild disinfectant and a cotton bud.

What is a mild disinfectant? Is Povidone-Iodine 10% a mild disinfectant or is it too strong?

He also recommended I tie it off.

Leave it. It will dry up and fall off on its own. There is no need to stress the baby out.

Worse Egg Yolk Problem

I just had my 11th hatch this morning and s/he has a much larger egg yolk with a tinge of blood.

What do I do? It's quite a large egg yolk.

I left it in the incubator with the one that has had its head outside the egg for about 5 hours with no progress. This egg (with the half-hatched baby) wasn't pipped last night nor was it sweating much. I felt (the gut feeling of a complete novice) that the egg it was in is the most calcified of the whole clutch because it was the most uniform colored and the whitest.

I could do with some advice.

If you haven't read on my other thread, the mother gracilior is digging as I type. She isn't very big, but she was bred to my young male gracilior after she laid a clutch of 16 with not one fertile.
