Feeding - Crickets - 10 - 15 a day - Morning and night - Using Flukes cricket gut load
Supplements - Crickets are dusted every 3 days.
Watering - We have a drip system and mist twice a day. I dont see him drinking
Fecal Description - Its brown and semi solid. No he has not.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Glass sides with screen top about 1.5 feet X 1.5 Feet X 2 Feet
Lighting - 8-9 lights go one for 12 hours. Using a repisun 10.0 and standard heat lamp
Temperature - Temps range from 90's (near top bulb) to mid 80's at bottom. I use a digital temp gage to measure.
Humidity - Humidity is around 40% it is measured by a dial humidity gauge.
Plants - No live plants just plastic
Placement - Cage is in my sons room infront of a window that faces west. The base of the cage sits 4.5 ft off the foor.
Location - Nebraska
Current Problem -
My son has a veiled chameleon and he is very week. I need some suggestions how to nurse him back to health. I am being told (not in the house) that he has not eaten in 2-3 days and that crickets are crawling right in front of him and he is making no effort to catch them.
Can he he hand fed? Should I move him into a smaller cage?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
