Hello my Panthers are over a year old And today was a nice sunny day so I said let me try and put them together put my famale of the tree first about 15 minutes later I put my male on the tree he started to get close to my female and started to do a head Bob then he got behind her and she didn't fight him at all he got on top and did he's thing I walked awayi left them on the tree for about a hour today as I cleaned there cages I also put a egg Ben in her cage with all her favorite foods I need help how many times to they need to Mate Before you think she would start to lay eggs in the Ben what are signs to look for to see if she's carrying pretty much what should I look for

Really once is all it takes. But I like to see 2 copulations. Sometimes 3. I think that the extra copulation or copulations will help with her second clutch having less infertiles. Depending on how the female is looking (her colors and dispotion) directly after the first copulation I leave them together for upto a half a day. If she looks like she wants to get away from the male I reintroduce the next day. As soon as I see her color turn dark or her mouth opens up I stop the process. Then the wait begins. Roughly 18-30 days later she will lay.
Panther females color usually darken sometimes displaying bright pinks.
But just to let you know if you 100% witnessed a copulation she is most certainly gravid.
