need help asap new to site

bought\rescued a blue bar panther chameleon got it relatively cheap PS he has got weird marks on his body and just doesn't look right also I think he might have mouth rot but not sure I'm getting payed in 2 weeks and thats when I can take him to vets Cage Type - 3 sides screen, custom back, 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet.
Lighting - 75 watt heat lamp, 5.0 UVB, 2 10 hours of light 14 hours of dark.
Temperature - basking spot is around 90-95
Humidity - gets sprayed 3 times a day
Location - discrete disturb free area
Hardly ever handle
Poo is normal eating drinking normal 1yr old panther blue bar chameleon

I'm not an expert on mouth rot, but if I had to guess that would be it. I'm not sure if you can wait two weeks, he needs to see a vet right now. Is there any way at all you can get him in?

Hi, hes alert, thats a positive. He definitely has some issues that will need some attention.

**Till you see a vet**
The mouth: If you can open the mouth to examine without causing harm. Find out what is causing the issue and clean the area by scraping away the debris. It is ok if the area bleeds a little. Take some provodone iodine and dilute it with a fresh bottled water to ressemble a mild tea solution. With his nose pointed to the ground rinse the area with a needless syringe. You can also soak a qtip and clean the area.

Skin/shedding/infection: For the shedding. Good nutrition and proper humidity will help. For the infection, it is best to find out what type of infections it is first.

Try to find a vet that see chameleons or at least reptiles. If they have no clue or guessing when you bring him in. Suck up the loss and find another. Post where you are from and maybe someone will help you find a good vet near you.

I am from bury Lancashire what do you mean cut your losses do you mean put the chameleon to sleep

No, he means if the vet you are going to doesn't know much about chameleons to cut your losses on what the vet bill is and to find another vet in that area that has chameleon experience.

OK thank you all of you for replying so quickly how much would it approximately cost to treat mouth rot and infection if someone could tell me this it would be largely appreciated
