Need feed in North Jersey

Hey, all.

Is there anyone in the northern NJ area that breeds their own crickets?

I would like to buy from someone local, who knows the age of their crickets.
I hate buying them from the pet store, where they're expensive, not knowing how old they are, and having to return in 2 days because they all croaked.

I don't think it makes sense to breed my own, since I only have 1 cham, and we feed our gecko m-worms only.

If you're in the Sussex/Morris county area, please send me pvt msg.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. You should feed a variety of well gut loaded feeders to your chameleon, not just crickets. This is an excellent place to buy feeders if you only have one chameleon and they are delivered right to your door. You can get a value pack with 3 or 4 (small amounts) of different feeders for $20.00. lindasgonebuggie.com

Andie if you go to the December 6 reptile show in Hamburg PA feel free to stop over afterwards. You aren't all that far from the show or my place. We get a pretty nice group of chameleon folks over after the show.

Thank you so much, Carl! How nice of you to offer. I would love to come to the show. We've just recently become reptile owners, and I'm in love with chameleons.

If you don't mind me picking your expert brain a bit....what is the best way to feed any type of worms? My cham likes super worms, but I've been giving them via big tweezers, one at a time.

I'm also ordering a variety pack to offer him more options. Not sure how to go about it.
Thanks, again!
