I have been participating in an educational event in Raleigh, NC for the past 3 years. NC museum of natural sciences has a Herp Day in March, and I've attended with many of my chameleons.
This Fall, I've lost all my WC chameleons to Coccidia. They all came in with it in small amounts, but I never treated until recently. Too late.
I used my deremensis in the presentation, as they were nice and calm.
What I'm looking for is a nice and calm animal, preferbly something montane, that I could use in my demonstration. Does NOT have to be a perfect animal, does not have to be in perfect condition, MBD deformities woudl be ok, as a teaching tool - just nothing communicable, PLEASE!
If you have an extra animal, and would be willing to donate, that would be great. If you would be willing to sell one cheap, for non-breeding, educational purposes, that'd be great too.
I'm looking for adult or sub-adult animals, preferably montanes (jacksonii, etc. - horns a plus), maybe a pardalis. Basically, something to add variety to my lecture - anything not a melleri or calyptratus... though if you have a 24", friendly veiled, we'll talk... mine hate me and do not work well with children.
Also interested in a brev - woudl be a good comparison between them and the melleri.
