Well my local pet shops are out of locusts and i cant get them till saturday, so is it ok if his diet consists of just mealworms for the next 3 days, need an answer thanks

How old is it and what species? If you can get mealworms and another worm (like silkworms, superworms, etc.) from the shop it would be better. If it's a healthy adult, you don't even have to worry about it as they can go several days without food just fine (so you can use a few mealworms if you want until the locusts come in.) Do they have crickets?

Mealworms aren't ideal for chameleons, but it depends on what species he is and what size he is, as Pssh says. 3 days between meals isn't a big deal for an adult, healthy chameleon, but could be fatal for a juvenile or sickly one.

I don't think a juvenile would die if it did not have food for three days....what about when they go on hunger strikes at that age?
